Accelerating the knowledge generated and getting it into the commercial marketplace to improve the quality of life and economic conditions of the people of North Carolina, the nation, and beyond is a practical method for pursuing this mission. Closing the funding gap for early-stage companies and supporting their ongoing efforts is critical.
To ensure this impact, UNC-Chapel Hill, in conjunction with UNC Health, created Carolina Research Ventures (CRV) to unlock the potential of its technologies and entrepreneurs, advancing their commercialization efforts by providing capital and expertise.
